Abstract: The study of the potential of community assets and their governance is a study that deserves to be given more portion. Al-Jihad as one of the institutions that manage people's assets appears to have an interesting governance model to be studied in depth. Therefore, the main focus of this study revolves around two things: How is the governance of people's assets at al-Jihad Foundation Surabaya; and how is the analysis of Islamic law related to this governance. This study is a field research, which uses a philosophical approach. Data is obtained from direct interviews with several figures directly related to the object of study. The collected data were critically analysed in depth, and compare-contrast analysis was conducted to obtain the validity of the data obtained. This research confirmed at least two major conclusions: First, the principle of priority scale (awlāwīyah) plays a major role in the governance of Muslim assets. A good educational institution, in fact, can also be transformed into a social institution that can raise the dignity and welfare of institutions that manage Muslim assets in general. Secondly, the prioritisation of ḍarūrīyah (primary) aspects in the governance system of educational institutions indirectly plays a major role in supporting the development of the institution itself. An ideal educational institution must be able to be a centre for education and teaching, but on the other hand, it must be able to be transformed into a societal institution. This educational institution is not only able to present the education-teaching process, but can also fulfil the most basic needs of society, welfare.

Keywords: al-Jihad, DASA, People's Assets, Social Fund, Priority Scale.
Muhammad Ghufron, Moh Hatta Copyright (c) 2024 El-Qist: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (JIEB) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1579 Wed, 21 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Non-Civil Servant Muzakkī Intentions in Paying Zakāh in BAZNAS of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency, East Java https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1486
This research aims to determine the intentions of Non-Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Muzakkī or non-civil servant Muzakkī in paying zakāh at National Amil Zakāh Agency (BAZNAS) of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency as well as to describe how BAZNAS of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency in growing the intention of non-civil servant Muzakkī in paying zakāh. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using primary data in the form of interviews with the person in charge of collecting funds at BAZNAS of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency, three Muzakkī from BAZNAS of Sidoarjo Trenggalek Regency. Then, secondary data in the form of the Institution's vision and mission, financial reports, and magazines published by relevant institutions. The results of this research are the intentions of non-civil servant Muzakkī in paying Zakāh at BAZNAS of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency, viewed from the Planned Behavior Control theory, shows that attitude toward behavior plays an essential role in the Muzakkī's intention to pay zakāh. Subjective norms and perceived behavior control are not determining factors in giving zakāh, but it is the main factor in paying zakāh through BAZNAS of Sidoarjo and Trenggalek Regency. Meanwhile, BAZNAS of Trenggalek Regency’s strategies to increase the intention of non-civil servant Muzakkī to pay zakāh is less than optimal in terms of strengthening cooperation with private institutions and collecting innovations in the non-civil servant (Non-ASN) community. However, BAZNAS of Trenggalek Regency is quite good in terms of cooperation with the private sector and innovation in raising funds by forming village UPZs, known as zakāh collection units in Karangturi and Ngulungkulon Village, Munjungan District. Regarding transparency, BAZNAS of Trenggalek Regency has published in detail on the website, while BAZNAS of Sidoarjo Regency is featured in the ZISKU monthly magazine.
M. The research method used is a library study approach with secondary data sources. Data was obtained from BPS, OJK and observations in villages where the community allocated a budget for greenhouses and environmental health. The collected data was analyzed using Ibn Khaldūn's thoughts on Trade and Social Change. The results of this research are as follows: first, budget allocation considers the sources of income they have; households tabulate their needs and make a percentage budget allocation. In this budget allocation, not everything is used for consumption but also for savings and righteous charity activities. The realization of sustainable financial management is carried out using the greenhouse model and ḥalāl budget allocation. Greenhouses are realized by the community participating in waste banks, Sustainable Food House Areas or Climate Resilient Integrated Service Post (Postaklim). Through this, community economic empowerment occurs. Second, the greenhouse model collaborates with the ḥalāl budget allocation model so that there is no waste in household expenditure because sustainable finances in the household do not only talk about current financial existence but also financial existence in the future.
Nikmatul Masruroh, Ahmad Fadli, Attori Alfi Shahrin, Yazidul Fawaid Copyright (c) 2023 El-Qist: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (JIEB) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1479 Tue, 31 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of the Digital Marketing Mix on the Mikhayla_Shop Account Reviewed from the Perspective of Islamic Business Ethics https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1478
This study aims to analyze the form of the digital marketing mix through social media on the Instagram account mikhayla_shop in terms of Islamic Business Ethics. This study uses a case study approach and a policy approach with a qualitative paradigm. This study examines the impact of mosque financial inclusion on the economic sustainability of the mosque community using primary data from research objects, namely the Jogokariyan Mosque in Yogyakarta and the Sabilillah Mosque in Malang City. The results of this study indicate that the relevance of mosque financial inclusion to a sustainable economy can be proven in the two mosques that are the object of this research. The Bayt al-Māl, ‘Āmil Zakāh Institution (LAZ), Mosque Cooperatives, and Foundations carry out access indicators without involving the formal financial sector or the government. The inclusion target community can easily access these institutions. It is consumptive-productive based on the signs of use of the Jogokariyan and Sabilillah Malang Mosques. qarḍ ḥasan and grants are the three financial methods for the three mosques. By providing cash lending without interest or collateral, the two mosques have implemented financial inclusion for target communities that do not have bank accounts. It is ideal to be productive and still meet quality metrics for public consumption. Using zakāh, infāq, and ṣadaqah instruments further illustrates the close connection between financial inclusion and a sustainable economy. The community's accessibility to services for basic necessities, education, health, and social mobilization demonstrates its significance.
Mohammad H Holle, Binti Nur Asiyah, Zumaroh, Dwi Koerniawati; Syed Ismail Syed Mohamad, Arifin Pellu Copyright (c) 2023 El-Qist: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (JIEB) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1460 Wed, 08 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000 An Intervening Maṣlaḥah on Influencing Reward and Punishment for Employee’s Performance https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1458
This study aims to examine the influence of reward and punishment factors on improving the quality of employees' performance and how the achievement of maṣlaḥah on reward and punishment factors for improving employee performance as an intervening variable at Waroeng Special Sambal. This study used a quantitative method with a sample of 76 respondents determined using a Technical Census, namely the Sample Census. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and observations, then processed using the SmartPLS version 4 measuring tool, the PLS-SEM model. The study's results prove that punishment has a moderate effect on performance. The effect of reward on performance is significantly positive with a value of 0.406 and P values of 0.024, where if rewards are often appropriately applied, then employee benefits in work also increase found that the effect of punishment on performance is significantly positive with a value of 0.561 and P values 0.002 where if punishment is often appropriately applied, employee benefits in work also increase. So, the achievement of maṣlaḥah still significantly acts as a variable that mediates the indirect effect of reward and punishment for improving employees’ performance.
Setiawan bin Lahuri, Gafita Almas, Ainun Amalia Zuhroh Copyright (c) 2023 El-Qist: Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (JIEB) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://jurnalfebi.uinsby.ac.id/index.php/elqist/article/view/1458 Thu, 02 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000
